With Jane visiting from New Zealand and the weather fantastic, I thought a ski trip up Mazama would be great. Unfortunately Jane didn't have skis so she had to borrow my snowshoes but we stayed together heading up Mazama Dome from the upper Mount Baker ski area parking lot. It was a gentle route up to the saddle between Mazama Dome and Table Mountain. From this saddle we got an excellent view of Mount Baker. The rest of the route went up to the right via the south slopes to the top of Mazama Dome, following an existing path that switchbacked up the final 500 feet. There were so many other hikers and skiers out.
